Contest 7 for the Opens was another club comp held in waves of consequence with a solid 4-5ft south swell rolling through North Cronulla with a bit of sou-east wind behind it.
The Micro’s were put off as were the U13’s due to school holiday numbers being down and the size of the surf on offer.
Sponsored by Glen Gilbertson Timber Floorsanding it was a good way to end the club year.
New club champ Haydo Blair was on a roll taking out a close final to Cooper Manion who pushed him all the way- Dane Decoque was third followed by Jake Brown, a red hot Matt
Gall and Oliver Watson.
Kash Brown got the money and the points in the Juniors over Oscar Haylar and Grace Gosby.
Grace took the crown in the womens over sister Jasmine and Sarah Lagerlow and Greg Brown was the highest placed Brown in the highly competitive Masters division -defeating
Adam and Richard (no relations).
