A long day at the Alley today for Event #4 on the Sharks schedule including the Women's Challenger Series.![]()
In the women's Challenger, April Davey got one back by defeating last months winner Grace Gosby with Claudia Kennedy third. April stuck her turns and waited patiently for her waves overturning her semi final second place.![]()
The waves picked up during the day and the Alley bank was good until the nor easter did some damage on the low tide.![]()
In the 10's Michael Lunniss pipped Slater Young with Maya Lily Johnsen third.![]()
Harvey Richards took the 13 crown over Flynn Lloyd and Max Griggs won the 16's over defending champ Alessandro Moretto.![]()
The 45s went to Greg Brown over Fletch and the 60's was won by Smith in the dying seconds over Veage winning by 0.14 ( I was robbed)![]()
The Opens hit the water as the sun was setting and Jay Brown layed down some serious turns to take the prize money from Haydo and Rhys Young. Thanks to everyone for the help judging and packing up.![]()

Big weekend for the Sharks Women with Grace Gosby taking out the inaugural Cronulla Women's Challenge first round today hosted by EBC over her sister Jasmine with Zara fourth (former Cronulla club champ April Davey was third)-great result for all the Sharks women who surfed-also to Scarlett and Sam who finished third in the semi's-all good results.
